Stop press!! Leatherback turtle spotted near Deal, Kent. Now, it’s not often we get leatherback reports that far east in UK seas, but Maria from Kingsdown, who spotted it, said there were lots of jellyfish about, and the turtle seemed to be swimming between the groynes, moving its head from side to side, probably on a jelly hunt.

Message from the  Marine Conservation Society

If you see a turtle, jellyfish or basking shark in UK waters, please let them  know via their website link  http://bit.ly/1iYBeqn
