Tuesday November 12 – 7.30 for 8.00pm at Kingsdown School – Conservation Areas, Character Appraisals and Neighbourhood Plans. An illustrated talk by Clive Alexander, DDC’s principal heritage planner and urban designer

Tuesday 17thSeptember 7.30 for 8.00pm at Kingsdown School  – South Foreland Lighthouse. An illustrated talk by the National Trust about one of Britain’s most important heritage maritime buildings. Members £3:00, non-members £4.00, includes free glass of wine and refreshments

National Trust South Foreland Lighthouse –  Join butterfly expert Matthew Oates at the South Foreland Lighthouse on 14th August as part of his celebrations to mark 50 years of studying and sharing his love of butterflies. From 10:30 until about midday he will be giving a talk along the lines of ’50 butterfly facts’ and from 1:15pm onwards he will be leading a walk across the cliffs butterfly spotting. Kingsdown Rocks Music Festival at Kingsdown Village School
Saturday June 8th   – Gates open at12.00noon for 12.30pm

The 4th Kingsdown Garage Safari is on Sunday May 19 from 9.30am. Village maps are available on the day from the Village Hall; Lyndhurst, Victoria Road; and Hardicot Guest House, Kingsdown Road. There are 50+ stalls booked. Refreshments available in the village
